Director’s Note | 2011

It is the mission of Creative Arts Studio to encourage learning through artistic methods that are individually meaningful to each student. In our second decade of business we continue to hold close to this mission.

Accompany us in 2011 on our path to Family Health and Well-Being. Join OUR family as we help YOURS focus on moms and babies across Brooklyn. We continue to bring the outside in as we introduce new affiliate programs and talented specialists who bring their areas of expertise to our studio and community.

Join Mary Lynn Fiske, AAHCC with the Bradley Method or Sarah Moore from FIG TREE CHILDBIRTH SERVICES in classes preparing moms for delivery. Experience MommyMUSH beGONE! with Solo Fitness & Wellness as they help moms recuperate and rejuvenate after giving birth and focus on the mush areas mom tend to have. Enjoy Michelle Kennedy’s Pre-Natal Yoga for moms to be &
Shanti Baby Yoga, which will be an ideal way to rebalance your body with your baby in hand.

Building on its success last year, we’re bringing back the popular Lets Make a Musical. This class showcased the students in their own full length musical, which they performed at the Creative Arts Studio Theatre. Since this program was such a sensation, it inspired us to expand our theatre program to create our own student theatre company for ages 9 and up. Watch for the Creative Arts Student Theater Company, CASTCO, coming this Fall.

In 2011-12 we give birth to new programs, classes and workshops where families enter into our World of Discovery.

Join us as we continue to open doors to open minds.
